How to create events that rock

Gone are the days when a beautifully decorated hall, an abundance of food and happy guests were all it took to declare an event successful. From private parties to weddings and corporate events, individuals and companies are concerned about hosting events that remain the topic of discussion long after the event is over. There is an expectation for precision in the execution of ideas and/or return in value for the money spent on the event.

 

This realization has informed an increasing demand for the services of professional Event Planners or Event Managers and a massive influx of players into the Events Services Industry.  

We have more event companies in Nigeria today than ever before. Sadly, too many of these companies fail to deliver successful events on time, on budget and on schedule.

There is a wide knowledge and skill gap and many clients still find themselves having to do the very job they paid an Event Planner to handle. 

To help solve this problem and boost the activities of players in the Events Services Industry, the Event Engineering Workshop has been created to provide a platform for the transfer of knowledge and ideas from some of the keenest minds in the industry.

The first edition of the workshop holds from the 21st to the 22nd of October 2015at the Balmoral Event Centre in Oregun, Ikeja Lagos.With the theme - “How To Create Events That Rock”; YemiAmusan, Funmi Victor-Okigbo, Edi Lawani, Femi Odewunmi, Naomi Lucas and EseOrakawill facilitate an intriguing bouquet of sessions specially designed for Event Promoters, Event Managers, Event Vendors and Brand Managers. The training program also features a special interactive session with Chocolate City Group founder AuduMaikori.
